スビンコットンの中でも初摘みのもの、スビンプラチナムという原料で作られたスムース生地を使用。
一般的にコットンは繊維長が長いものが価値が高いとされている中で、スビンのそれは世界で最上位に位置します。
たしかにそれに起因するしなやかな肌触り、光沢感、油分を含んだような滑り感など一般的に流通するコットン生地を想起しながら触れると、これは異質なものと感じます。

価値観が多様化する中でどのような風合いのお洋服を上質、高級品と解釈するかを固定化するように文言でお伝えすることは避けたいと考えておりますが、私達が良いと考えるカットソーを企画する上でこちらの生地を選定しました。

スムース組織は適度な厚みと張りがあることからお洋服の造形を立体的に保ち、また目面の綺麗さから他で展開する毛織物やプリーツアイテムとの相性もとても良く、コーディネート中のメインアイテムに対して余白として機能します。

また、目面の綺麗さを損なわないよう袖口、裾の始末は天地縫いで仕上げています。

少し大きく開いたモックネック、肘まで隠す袖口の広いハーフスリーブは通した身体を美しく見せる、着用者の余白となります。
