固くて、着心地が良いという価値観があるということ

使用している生地は、アメリカンコットンの中でも繊維長が長いことに起因する上品な光沢と強度を兼ね揃えるサンホーキン綿をゆっくりと時間をかけ紡績した糸で編み立てたものになります。

その生地を使用し、触るとまずしっかりしているという感想が思い浮かぶTシャツを作りました。

一般的に世に出ているTシャツは単糸、すなわち一本の糸で編む天竺の場合が多いのですが、この生地は複数の糸を同時に編み立てる引き揃え天竺と呼ばれるもののため、より厚みがあり強度が高くなります。

構成される本数が増えるためこれは280g/㎡と、一般的なもの（150-200g/㎡）よりやや重くなることも「しっかりとしている」と感じる要因です。

また、糸は通常よりも撚り回数を多くした強撚タイプのものを使用しているため、丈夫で伸縮性が少なく、生地になった際には張りが出て型崩れしにくい性質が発現します。他にも強撚糸は表面が滑らかで、さらっとした肌触りなどの特徴もあります。

上記の製法および特徴から一般的なTシャツだと認識して触ると固く感じると思います。

これらの事から本製品は、着用時に体のラインが出てしまうことを回避することを助け、体から適度に離れ張り付きにくく、湿度が高くてもさらっとした質感を感じやすいなど、部分的に亜熱帯化していると感じるような昨今の気候に少しでも対応できる機能を持っていると言えるかもしれません。

主観ですが、柔らかい、伸縮性が高い、軽いなどの特徴を含んだお洋服のことを着心地が良いと想起することが多いと感じる中で、この製品は固い、伸縮性が低い、重いという逆の特徴を持っているのに着心地が良いと言えるというお洋服の提案です。
